The elective officers of the Town shall be six (6) Councilmembers and one (1) Mayor, all of whom shall be nominated and elected from the Town at large unless otherwise provided by ordinance in accordance with this Charter. Nominations shall be by petition as provided in the Colorado Municipal Election Code as now existing, or hereafter amended or modified, except that at least twenty (20) signatures of registered electors of the Town of Parachute shall be required on each petition. Notwithstanding the provisions of the Colorado Municipal Election Code, a registered elector may sign any number of nominating petitions regardless of the number of separate offices to be filled in any municipal election.
