The Town Council shall appoint a Municipal Judge for an indefinite term to serve at the pleasure of the Town Council. Said Judge may be removed with or without cause by the vote of four (4) members of the Town Council at any time. The Town Council may appoint additional assistant or acting municipal judges as deemed appropriate from time to time. Municipal Judges shall be licensed to practice law in Colorado. Municipal Judges shall be compensated on a basis established by the Town Council provided that compensation shall not be based directly on the number of cases handled or heard by the Judge.
