The Town Council shall adopt the property tax levy each year in time to have it certified to Garfield County for collection. The property tax levy may be adopted by resolution or by ordinance. If the Town Council should fail to make such levy, the rate last fixed shall be the rate for the next ensuing fiscal year and shall be levied according to law. (Amended January 17, 2019)
