A. The General Industrial Zone District is intended to provide sites for the full range of manufacturing, industrial processing, resource and energy production/service and distribution. The purpose of the GI District is to preserve the lands of the Town appropriate for heavy industrial uses, to protect these lands from intrusion by dwellings and inharmonious commercial uses, to promote uniform and orderly industrial development, to protect property values, to foster an efficient and aesthetically pleasing industrial zone, to attract and encourage the location of desirable industrial plants, to provide an industrial environment which will be conducive to good employee relations and pride on the part of all citizens of the community, and to provide proper safeguards and appropriate transition for surrounding land uses.

B. Land uses are permitted as shown in the schedule of uses in PMC 15.02.230.

C. Lot and building requirements shall be as shown in Table 2.10.
