The Town Council is hereby designated as the local licensing authority, and is hereafter referred to in this chapter as the “authority.” The Town Council may, by resolution, delegate its authority set forth in this code to the Town Manager or a new committee to act as the authority. The authority shall have all the powers of a local licensing authority set forth in the Colorado Medical Marijuana Code and Colorado Retail Marijuana Code, or otherwise as provided by law.
