A. Pursuant to the power and authority conferred by the laws of the state of Colorado, there is adopted, by reference thereto, the International Energy Conservation Code, 2018 Edition, together with the chapters of the appendix as set forth below, promulgated by the International Code Council, Inc. (hereinafter “IECC” or “International Energy Conservation Code”). The purpose of the IECC is to provide minimum standards to safeguard life and limb, health, property and the public welfare by regulating and controlling various matters including, but not limited to, regulations governing energy efficient building envelopes and installation of energy efficient mechanical, lighting and power systems of structures within the Town.

B. The following chapters of the appendix of the International Energy Conservation Code, 2018 Edition, are adopted: None. (Ord. 793 §2 (Exh. A), 2021)
